Guys and girls, you've made it! We finished Act One.  Next week were moving on to Act Two.  Keep up the hard work.  From the test, it seems like the majority of us are grasping the text.

Baseball after school today.

Please come out and support your baseball team today after school. Its a home game so I look forward to seeing some of you there. Remember, you can receive extra credit for being there.

Thoughts for Friday

Many of you guys are doing a good job today on your test.  I have observed quite a few people who are falling behind on their binders, though.  Please remember that as we get closer to the end of the year, we need to remain focused on what is most important: learning.  Have a nice weekend and come prepare Monday to start the text of the play.

Last day before Spring Break

Pre-AP writing assignment for Metamorphosis postponed until after Spring Break!

Metamorphosis paper due date moved to the day after Spring Break. Paper is now due on March 19th.

TAKS is behind us now!

I'm very, very proud of each and every one of you.  Having spoken to many students, I'm hearing feedback that you guys tried as hard as you could.  We wont get scores for a few weeks, but I want you guys to know that it is a tremendous success, no matter what.  You all gave it your best, and this is what matters most.  Good luck to all of you and look forward to Julius Caesar, among other things.  A much deserved Spring Break begins next week.

ONE DAY LEFT!!!

Here we go guys, the last day of preparation.  Keep in mind that today will be shortened due to assembly schedule.  This is so that we can rehearse exactly what needs to be done tomorrow. You will be meeting in your testing room during the assembly time. Today we will keep it light and do our best to review the main points of what we will do tomorrow.  Don't forget the  TAKS Gameplan, TAKS Skeleton and the Open-Ended Response format.
