Journal # 7

Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow. ~Aesop

Phil Journal 6

6: There is some negativity in deconstruction. I wouldn't deny this. You have to criticize, to ask questions, to challenge and sometimes to oppose. What I have said is that in the final instance, deconstruction is not negative although negativity is no doubt at work. – Jacques Derrida

Phil Journal #5

5. “Postmodernity is said to be a culture of fragmentary sensations, eclectic nostalgia, disposable simulacra, and promiscuous superficiality, in which the traditionally valued qualities of depth, coherence, meaning, originality, and authenticity are evacuated or dissolved amid the random swirl of empty signals.”
Jean Baudrillard

Phil Journal #4

4. “Convictions are more dangerous enemies of truth than lies”.

-Nietzsche
